Sunset Continue Community Crime Victims Grant Program

Concerning the continuation of the community crime victims grant program, and, in connection therewith, implementing the recommendations of the 2022 sunset report on the community crime victims grant program by the department of regulatory agencies.

Sunset Process - Senate Heath and Human Services Committee. The bill extends the community crime victims grant program for 5 years, until 2028.The bill also extends by 5 years the repeal date of the community crime victims grant program cash fund and allows appropriations from the fund to the department of public health and environment (department) for the 2022-23 state fiscal year to be used by the department for the 2023-24 state fiscal year.
