Concerning an appropriation to reduce financial barriers for students entering the educator workforce through the student educator stipend program, and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.
Bill Summary:
The act appropriates $4,197,000 to the department of education from the state education fund to fund student educator stipend program stipends. The department of education is required to transfer the appropriation spending authority to the department of higher education to fund student educator stipend program stipends.
