Concerning a supplemental appropriation to the department of public health and environment.
Bill Summary:
The 2022 general appropriations act is amended to balance and make adjustments to the total amounts appropriated to the department of public health and environment. The general fund and cash funds portions of the appropriation are increased and the reappropriated funds portion is decreased.
An appropriation made in House Bill 22-1358, concerning measures to eliminate the presence of lead in the drinking water of certain facilities where children are present, is amended to further appropriate the amount appropriated from the general fund portion for the 2023-24 fiscal year for the same purpose.
