Concerning an extension of the transitional jobs program, and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.

Bill Summary:

Transitional jobs program - extension - appropriation. The transitional jobs program is currently set to end on June 30, 2019, and no new transitional jobs are to be offered after December 31, 2018. The act extends the program for 5 additional years.

The act appropriates $1,278,751 to the department of human services for the program.
