Representatives Frizell and Froelich presented Senate Bill 23-050. The bill requires the packaging of certain disposable wipes to be labeled with the phrase “Do Not Flush.” Noncompliance constitutes a deceptive trade practice subject to civil penalties.

Dan DeLaughter, representing South Platte Renew, testified in support of the bill. Mr. DeLaughter provided written materials to the committee that can be found as Attachment A.
