Higher Education Transfers Fee-for-service Contracts

Concerning the department of higher education's authority to make transfers relating to a governing board's fee-for-service contracts for specialty education.

Bill Summary:

The department of higher education (department) may transfer up to 10% of the annual total governing board appropriation for an institution of higher education between the governing board's appropriation for college opportunity fund stipends on behalf of students and the governing board's fee-for-service contracts for higher education services and programs. The act expands the department's authority to include fee-for-service contracts for specialty education programs.
