Bill Summary

Starting in the 2021-22 fiscal year, the community college system must work with school districts, boards of cooperative services, the Colorado school for the deaf and the blind, and charter schools to provide information to the parents of students enrolled in grades 6 through 8 concerning concurrent enrollment opportunities available in grades 9 through 12. The community college system may start creating and disseminating the information in the 2020-21 fiscal year if it determines it can do so within existing resources.
