Senator Ginal, prime sponsor, presented on House Bill 22-1041, which requires any protected person to submit their name and home address when requesting that a government official remove personal information from records on the internet, and adds to the definition of protected person. The bill also specifies that these protections for protected people do not prohibit access to records by county officials or certain other individuals if the access is related to a real estate matter.
