Representatives Lieder and Ortiz, co-prime sponsors, introduced and explained House Bill 23-1302 concerning accessibility requirements for housing and modifying the standards for accessible housing and updating the probition of unfair or discriminatory housing practices against individuals with disabilites.  In addition, the bill authorizes the court to extend the date for a court hearing when the court receives a written request for a reasonable accomodation to prohibited unfair housing practices.  The bill sponsors provided a handout (Attachment B).
