Representative Froelich, prime sponsor, introduced Senate Bill 23-077 concerning prohibiting certain terms in broker engagement contracts for the sale of a residence.  The bill proposes excluding from these contracts covenants running with the land; an assignment of the right to provide service without notice; or a recordable lien, encumbrance, or other real property security interest.
