prime bill sponsor, presented House Bill 23-1144, concerning Public Employees'
Retirement Association (PERA) defined benefit plan payments to an ex-spouse
upon remarriage. The bill changes how PERA Defined Benefit plan benefits
are divided between a member and their ex-spouse.
Representative English provided an informational packet to the committee
members (Attachment B). She responded to questions from the committee
and discussed amendment L.001 (Attachment C).
