Senators Gardner and Ginal, co-prime sponsors, presented SB24-136, which makes several changes to guardianship and conservatorship procedures by enacting the “Uniform Guardianship, Conservatorship, and Other Protective Arrangements Act.”

Ms. Elizabeth Moran, representing The Arc of Colorado, testified in support of the bill.  Katie First, representing Colorado Counties Inc., testified to amend the bill.  Ms. Lauren Harvey, representing City & County of Denver -- Department of Human Services, testified to amend the bill.  Mr. Benjamin Orzeske, representing Uniform Law Commission, testified in support of the bill.  The panelists responded to committee questions.
