Senator Van Winkle, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 24-148. The bill allows a facility approved for use as a precipitation harvesting facility located within a storm water detention and infiltration facility to use detained water. The facility must be approved as a pilot project under a State Engineer-approved substitute water supply plan or as a permanent project operating under a water court-decreed augmentation plan. Senator Van Winkle also discussed amendment L.001 (Attachment A).
