Senator Hansen called the meeting to order,  The committee is meeting a second time to approve the conference committee report that was approved and signed on May 6, 2023.  Under Joint Rule 4(i), a report approved at the meeting on May  6, 2023, was signed prior to the House giving permission to go beyond the scope (Joint Rule 4(i)).  The House did give permission to go beyond the scope so the committee is meeting again to approve the report.  There was no change in the report from the report approved on May 6, 2023.
