Senator Foote called the meeting to order. He discussed the differences between the reengrossed version of the bill and the rerevised version of the bill, including provisions surrounding admissibility and discovery of information.  The First Report of the First Conference Committee On SB 19-217 CLSB217.001 was distributed to the committee (Attachment A).

Committee discussion followed regarding the conference committee report and other concerns related to insurance settlements that do not cover the full balance of a lien, and holding patients liable for unpaid balances.
