Senator Danielson,
primary bill sponsor, introduced Senate Bill 26-100, which modifies the
requirements for a criminal history record check for youth sports coaches
and applies the same requirements to youth sports chaperones. It also requires
that at least one adult who possesses a current first aid certification
be present at each youth athletic activity. The primary bill sponsor requested
that the bill be postponed indefinitely.
