Senators Gonzalez R. and Ball, primary bill sponsors, introduced House Bill 26-1116, which extends the period during which a facility must attempt to follow-up with a person who has been discharged from a mental health hold to 72 hours. It also allows outpatient facilities to receive a certificate of compliance with building regulations from the Division of Fire Prevention and Control in the Department of Public Safety after an inspection conducted by a fire department with a certified inspector and exempts providers of telehealth services from the requirement. |
