The primary bill sponsors, Representatives Lieder and Feret, introduced Senate Bill 26-007 to the House Health and Human Services Committee. The bill allows health facilities to permit terminally ill patients who are registered with the state medical marijuana program to use their medical marijuana while admitted to or residing in the facility. Medical marijuana use under these conditions is restricted to products that do not involve smoking or vaping and that comply with the prescribing doctor’s recommended use.
