The committee discussed the request to the Colorado State Patrol for Capitol swipe card data. Representative Soper suggested limiting the request to Representative Weinberg's swipes from December 31, 2024. The committee further discussed the Capitol swipe card data request.

The committee continued discussion of the Capitol swipe key data request for Representative Weinberg from December 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025.

Representative McCormick turned to the complaint and to discussion of the potential ethical violations raised by the complaint. She referenced a chart prepared by the OLLS regarding the allegations (Attachment A). The committee discussed the Workplace Harassment and Workplace Expectations policies.

The committee discussed the role of the committee in relation to allegations that could be investigated or adjudicated by other entities, such as the Secretary of State's office for campaign finance violations. Ed DeCecco, OLLS, responded. Ms. Chase commented on the role of the House Workplace Harassment Committee to investigate complaints under the Workplace Harassment Policy.

The committee discussed the request for evidence posted on the committee's website, and the deadline for submitting responses. Mr. DeCecco further discussed the Ethics Committee's role in investigating complaints that may also be reviewed by the House Workplace Harassment Committee. Committee discussion continued.

Representative Garcia Sanders asked about evidence submitted by Representative Luck, and asked OLLS to follow up with Representative Luck to clarify. Representative McCormick responded to questions about future committee meetings, and noted the committee would discuss any newly received evidence and deliberate regarding the allegations.
