The primary bill
sponsors, Representatives Feret and Paschal, introduced House Bill 26-1107
to the House Health and Human Services Committee. The bill requires dementia
care facilities to update information disclosure requirements and authorizes
the Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to accept gifts,
grants, and donations to implement the provisions. By July 1, 2027, the
CDPHE must create a dementia care services information form for dementia
care facilities to complete and distribute to individuals seeking the facilityâs
services.
