Senators Johnston and Holbert, co-prime sponsors, presented House Bill 16-1440, which prohibits the State Board of Education (SBE) or the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) from publishing the educator effectiveness ratings for a grade level, subject area, school, or school district if the number of educators in the reported group is small enough to enable a person to identify an individual educator's effectiveness rating. Senator Johnston distributed and explained amendment L.008 (Attachment F).
