Senator Lambert, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 16-111, concerning authorizing the Colorado Mounted Rangers as certified reserve peace officers. Senator Lambert discussed the need for mounted rangers to have peace officer certification, and specific instances in which such certification would be beneficial. Senator Lambert distributed and explained amendment L.001 (Attachment B).
