Senators Smallwood and Kerr, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 17-268. Under current law, a pharmacist may supervise up to three persons who are either pharmacy interns or pharmacy technicians. This bill removes that limitation. If three or more pharmacy technicians are on duty, at least one must have certain qualifications. Amendment L.001 was distributed to the committee (Attachment A).
