Senator Gardner, chair, called the committee to order. Senator Kefalas and Senator Gardner, co-prime sponsors, presented House Bill 17-1056, concerning the eligibility of a veterans' service organization to accept public service assignments offered in connection with misdemeanor sentencing. Senator Kefalas explained the bill to the committee, and submitted to the committee a letter from the Larimer County Alternative Sentencing Department (Attachment A).
