sponsor, Representative Ricks, introduced House Bill 25B-1011 to the House
Health and Human Services Committee. The bill authorizes licensed health
care providers, including pharmacists, dental hygienists, and registered
nurses, to provide preventive health care services that are within their
scope of practice and training. The services may include administering
federally approved vaccines, conducting routine health screenings, and
providing preventative patient education and counseling.
