The committee came back to order. Senator Todd, sponsor, introduced Senate Bill 16-079 which concerns increasing the alignment of postsecondary and workforce readiness initiatives at the secondary education level with postsecondary career and technical education.

The following people testified on the bill:

02:03 PM -- Mark Bell, representing Colorado Association of Career and Technical Educators, spoke in support of the bill. He answered questions from the committee.

02:07 PM -- Cory Notestine, representing the Colorado School Counselor Association, spoke in support of the bill. Mr. Notestine answered questions from the committee.

02:15 PM -- Michael Gifford, representing the Associated General Contractors of Colorado, spoke in support of the bill.

Senator Hill closed public testimony. Senator Todd provided closing comments to the bill. Senator Hill laid the bill over for action only to a later date.
