Senator Todd, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 16-045, which modifies state academic standards by adding a requirement that the State Board of Education (SBE) include standards for understanding how to finance postsecondary education and retirement planning. Two handouts were distributed to the committee (Attachments G and H), as well as amendment L.001 (Attachment I).
