Representatives Paschal and Soper, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 25-120. The bill creates a grant program in the Colorado School of Mines to distribute funds to institutions of higher education to expand programs related to nuclear energy. The bill sponsors responded to committee questions.

Richard Orf, representing the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado, testified in support of the bill. Brittany Dixon, representing Club 20, testified in support of the bill. Sara Blackhurst, representing Action Colorado, testified in support of the bill.
