Senator Marble, co-prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 19-149 to the committee. The bill continues the Colorado Human Trafficking Council, which is scheduled to repeal on September 1, 2019.

Maria Trujillo, Human Trafficking Program Manger for the Department of Public Safety, testified in support of the bill. The committee also received a letter of support from the chair of the Human Trafficking Council (Attachment B).

Kelly Dore, representing the National Human Trafficking Survivors Coalition, testified in support of the bill. She provided a packet of information to committee members, which was not made available for the record.
