Senator Todd, bill sponsor, described Senate Bill 19-099.  The bill establishes a registration program for student athlete agents. Senator Todd introduced Amendment L.002 (Attachment I).

Tom Morris, Office of Legislative Legal Services, described the effects of the amendment.  Mr. Morris responded to a question from the committee regarding differences from the original bill.

Anne McGihon and Don Mielke, Uniform Law Commission, testified in support of the bill.  The commissioners responded to clarifying questions from the committee.  The commissioners distributed a handout on the Athlete Agents Act (Attachment J), an endorsement of the act (Attachment K), and a memorandum regarding the Revised Uniform Athlete Agents Act (Attachment L).
