Representatives McKean and Snyder, co-prime sponsors, introduced House Bill 20-1124, concerning clarification of the period following the declaration by the Governor of a disaster emergency in a county within which the board of county commissioners may transfer county general fund money to the county road and bridge fund for the purposes of disaster response and recovery.  Transfers are allowed for eight years following the declaration of the Governor.  The bill clarifies that the date begins the day after the date that the Governor makes the final declaration, including all extensions to the declaration.
