Representative Lontine, bill sponsor, presented House Bill 20-1132. The bill makes modifications to the eligibility criteria for grants from the Local Elections Assistance Cash Fund.  The bill modifies the criteria to allow counties to receive grants for leasing election equipment, in addition to purchasing the equipment outright.  Additionally, eligible costs for reimbursement were expanded from strictly voting equipment to include additional types of election equipment and supplies.
