Stewart, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 25-1266, concerning the establishment of Colorado American Indian Recognition Day as an observed state holiday. The bill establishes the second Monday in October as “Colorado American Indian Recognition Day,” an observed state holiday. The bill sponsors responded to questions from the committee and provided a handout (Attachment A) to the committee.
