Bill Summary

Supplemental appropriation - department of human services. The 2018 general appropriation act is amended to balance and make adjustments to the total amount appropriated to the department of human services. The general fund, cash funds, and federal funds portions of the appropriation are decreased and the reappropriated funds portion is increased, resulting in an overall decrease to the department.

The 2017 general appropriation act is amended to balance and make adjustments to the total amount appropriated to the department of human services. The cash funds and federal funds portions of the appropriation are increased and the reappropriated funds portion is decreased, resulting in an overall increase to the department.

Appropriations made in Senate Bill 18-254, concerning reforms to child welfare services, are amended to specify that money appropriated is for foster and adoptive parent recruitment, training and support.
