Concerning a requirement that voters registering to vote immediately prior to or on election day provide a form of identification that shows a photograph of the voter.

Bill Summary:

In connection with current procedures permitting an elector to register to vote on or immediately prior to election day, the bill permits an elector to register to vote less than 29 days prior to or on election day if the elector provides one of several enumerated forms of photo identification.

If enacted, the bill would be submitted to the electors of the state of Colorado for their approval or rejection under the referendum powers of the state constitution.
