4.    This act was passed without a safety clause. It takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the expiration of the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 5, 2015, if adjournment sine die is on May 6, 2015); except that, if a referendum petition is filed pursuant to section 1 (3) of article V of the state constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this act within such period, then the act, item, section, or part will not take effect unless approved by the people at the general election to be held in November 2016 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.

42.    This section of House Bill 15-1321 takes effect only if House Bill 15-1339 does not become law.

43.    This section of House Bill 15-1321 takes effect only if House Bill 15-1339 does become law, in which case this section takes effect upon passage of House Bill 15-1321 or upon passage of House Bill 15-1339, whichever is later.

44.    This act was passed without a safety clause. It takes effect March 26, 2016; except that, if a referendum petition is filed pursuant to section 1 (3) of article V of the state constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this act within the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly, then the act, item, section, or part will not take effect unless approved by the people at the general election to be held in November 2016 and, in such case, will take on the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.

45.    This act was passed without a safety clause. It takes effect January 1, 2016; except that, if a referendum petition is filed pursuant to section 1 (3) of article V of the state constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this act within the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly, then the act, item, section, or part will not take effect unless approved by the people at the general election to be held in November 2016 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor; and except that this act takes effect only if the department of revenue receives enough gifts, grants, and donations for materials, start-up costs, and computer programming necessary to implement this act.

46.    Senate Bill 15-210 harmonized with Senate Bill 15-228.

47.    This section of House Bill 15-1273 takes effect only if: The net reduction in the appropriations from the general fund made in Senate Bill 15-124 is equal to or greater than the amount of the general fund appropriation made in subsection (1) of section 9 of House Bill 15-1273 and the staff director of the joint budget committee files written notice with the revisor of statutes no later than July 1, 2015, that the net reduction in the appropriations from the general fund made in Senate Bill 15-124 is equal to or greater than the amount of the general fund appropriation made in subsection (1) of section 9 of House Bill 15-1273; and Senate Bill 15-124 is enacted and becomes law.

48.    This section of Senate Bill 15-056 takes effect only if House Bill 15-1323 and Senate Bill 15-257 do not become law.

49.    This section of Senate Bill 15-056 takes effect only if House Bill 15-1323 becomes law, in which case this section takes effect on the effective date of Senate Bill 15-056 or the effective date of House Bill 15-1323, whichever is later.

If the voters at the November 2015 statewide election approve a measure referred in accordance with section 39-28.8-603 (1), Colorado Revised Statutes, then this section takes effect on the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor, or January 1, 2016, whichever is later.
