Bill Summary

Sunset Process - House Health and Human Services Committee. The suicide prevention commission created in the department of public health and environment is scheduled to repeal on September 1, 2024. Pursuant to the recommendation in the department of regulatory agencies' sunset review and report, The bill continues the suicide prevention commission indefinitely to September 1, 2029. The bill also adjusts the appointments to the committee and limits the members from the current 26 to 22.
