Senator Winter introduced Brian Tobias, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), who provided an overview of the sunset process from DORA's perspective. Mr. Tobias continued the presentation by reviewing the sunset report on the Office of Consumer Counsel and Utility Consumers' Board.

Joseph Pereira, Deputy Director of the Office of Consumer Counsel, introduced himself and shared that he is available for questions. Senator Winter asked Mr. Pereira if he is in support of the recommendations.

on behalf of himself, testified in support of the recommendations for the
introductions of the bill. Mr. Tootle responded to questions from the committee.

Bill Levis, volunteer
lobbyist for the Office of Consumer Counsel and Association for the Advancement
of Retired People, testified in support of the recommendations to introduce
the bill. Mr. Levis' written testimony can be found in Attachment A.
