The committee was called to order. All members were present. Representatives Lontine and Gray presented Senate Bill 21-176, concerning protections for Colorado workers against discriminatory employment practices. The committee heard testimony on the bill at its June 3, 2021 meeting. Representative Lontine detailed some amendments that she explained the sponsors would not be bringing forward. Representative Gray explained this decision further. Various members discussed the merits of the legislation, certain issues associated with it, and the stakeholder process.
