Bill Summary:
The act requires the department of health care policy and financing (department), to the extent available and permitted by the federal government and the Colorado constitution, to maximize federal funds for payments for primary care services by aligning payments with the "Colorado Medical Assistance Act".
For the 2021-22 state fiscal year, the general assembly anticipates that the department will receive $25,330,755 in federal funds to the primary care program to implement the act.
