During the 2017 legislative session, the General Assembly considered measures on environmental matters, public health care issues, and certificates and licenses. The bills and resolutions described below passed and became law, unless otherwise noted.
During the 2018 session, the General Assembly considered bills related to suicide prevention, requests to study public health effects, changes to certificates and databases overseen by the Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), nad other public health-related legislation.
During the 2019 session, the Colorado General Assembly considered bills related to health facilities, chemical safety, maternal mortality, and other topics.
During the 2020 session, the General Assembly considered bills related to immunizations, food safety, chemical and consumer safety, substance use disorders, and paid sick leave.
In the 2020 session, the Colorado General Assembly considered measures related to the regulation of health care facilities, behavioral health and substance use, prescription drug costs, and abortion.
During the 2021 legislative session, the General Assembly considered several measures related to public health, including behavioral health, suicide prevention, and public safety.

During the 2022 legislative session, the General Assembly considered numerous bills related to public health, including bills related to service providers and equipment, rare diseases, environmental quality, and data collection.
