During the 2017 legislative session, the General Assembly considered measures related to the sunset review of the Division of Insurance, insurance fraud, life insurance cash surrender value, financial examinations and market conduct examinations, and self-storage insurance.
During the 2018 legislative session, the General Assembly considered measures related to title insurance, records access for insurance agents, and workers' compensation insurance.
During the 2019 legislative session, the General Assembly passed laws related to the regulation of the business of insurance in the state.
During the 2022 legislative session, the General Assembly passed several laws related to the regulation of the business of insurance in the state, as well as laws related to workers’ compensation claims and commercial regulation.
