Senator Hill, chair, called the meeting to order. Nancy McCallin, President of the Colorado Community College System, came to the table and introduced the reappointees to the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education, Byron McClenney and Theresa Pena. Copies of their applications and resumes and the Governor's appointment letter were distributed to the committee (Attachment A). Ms. Pena and Mr. McClenney spoke about their personal, educational, and profession backgrounds and answered questions from the committee.

Lieutenant Governor Joe Garcia, Executive Director of the Department of Higher Education, came to the table to introduce to the appointee and reappointees to the Colorado Commission on Higher Education: Thomas McGimpsey, Terence "Renny" Fagan, and John Anderson. Copies of their applications and resume and the Governor's appointment letter were distributed to the committee (Attachment B). The appointees talked about their personal, educational, and professional backgrounds and answered questions from the committee.

Mike Pickering, Zone Superintendent, POWER Innovation Zone, Falcon School District 49, came to the table to begin his presentation.
