Senator Hill, chair, called the meeting to order. Dene Kay Thomas, President of Fort Lewis College, introduced the reappointee to the Board of Trustees, Steven Ray Short. Copies of his application and resume and the Governor's appointment letter were distributed to the committee (Attachment A). President Thomas provided background information about Fort Lewis College and answered questions from the committee.
