Under current law, the board of a metropolitan district has the power to provide activities in support of business recruitment, management, and development within the district if the valuation assessment of the commercial property within the district is more than $1.25 billion. The bill removes the specified minimum valuation of commercial property for a metropolitan district's board to provide activities in support of business development within the district.
