Mr. Thomas Morris, Office of Legislative Legal Services, Senator Steadman, and Ms. Anne McGihon, Colorado Commission on Uniform State Laws, provided an update on the commission and its activities. Committee members received a handout providing background on the commission (Attachment B). Mr. Morris provided background on the commission. Ms. McGihon explained how the commission operates. Senator Steadman provided an overview of the legislation originating from the commission in 2016, and provided input on the commission's operation.
