SB24-178 - Referred to the Committee of the Whole
|
|
|
10:53:38 AM |
Representative Story and Representative Lindsay, co-prime bill sponsors, presented Senate Bill 24-178, concerning the repeal of a duplicative requirement to maintain an inventory of nondeveloped state-owned real property. Under current law, each state agency and each state institution of higher education must annually submit a list of all nondeveloped real property to the Capital Development Committee. The committee and the Department of Local Affairs must provide access to the list on their websites. The bill repeals these requirements. Similar information is captured in an inventory of unused state-owned property maintained by the Office of the State Architect.

Representative McLachlan
and Representative Epps, co-prime bill sponsors, presented Senate Bill
24-176, concerning updating the terminology that refers to an individual
who is enrolled in the State Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid). Current
law refers to a "recipient," "client," or "member"
interchangeably when referring to an individual who is enrolled in Medicaid.
The bill aligns terminology to âmemberâ when referring to an individual
who is enrolled in Medicaid.
