Extend Medicaid Payment Reform And Innovation Pilot
Concerning the continuation of the medicaid payment reform and innovation pilot program, and, in connection therewith, changing the time frames, eliminating the repeal date of the pilot program, enhancing the reporting requirements of the department of health care policy and financing, and making an appropriation.

The act removes the date by which the department of health care policy and financing (department) must select payment projects to be included in the medicaid payment reform and innovation pilot program (pilot program), allowing the department to continue selecting new payment projects for the pilot program. Further, the act removes the date for completion of pilot projects.
The act amends the department's ongoing reporting requirements and specifies information that must be included in the annual report. The act also includes issues relating to the department's evaluation of the pilot program's payment projects.
$245, 639 is appropriated from the general fund to the department for implementation of the act.
