and Kipp, co-prime sponsors, introduced House Bill 21-1095 concerning excavation
notification requirements for undergound facility location for county road
maintenance.  The bill exempts county maintained roads from the requirements
where work is being done by county employees performing maintenance or
emergency work.  The bill specifies that the work must not lower the
existing grade or elevation of the road or adjacent shoulder and ditch
or disturb more than six inches of the ground.  A packet was provided
to committee members (Attachment D).
