Senator Fenberg and Senator Gardner, co-prime sponsors, explained HB18-1233, concerning consumers reporting agency security freeze for minors. 

Senator Fenberg stated that the bill allows a parent or guardian to check on a minor's credit report and report fraudulent behavior.  He emphasized that the bill provides protections for both kids and parents.

Senator Gardner reiterated that the bill allows for parents to check their children's credit report and request a security freeze for fraudulent activity.
